Program Overview
The Owl & The Silver Moon is a highly recommended, arts-integrated preschool program for children ages 3 and 4. Our core philosophy, "Learning through the Lens of the Arts," infusing creativity into everyday lessons to develop a lifelong passion for learning. We focus on arts-centered cognitive development, child-centered play, and active parent partnerships.

3-Year-Old Class (3-Day Program): Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

The Owl and the Silver Moon program is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to Noon. 4-year-old class meets five days per week, while the 3-year-old class joins them on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The Owl and the Silver Moon program follows the Rome City School District’s academic calendar. If school is delayed by at least 1 hour, there is no program on that day.

Yes, all children who attend The Owl and the Silver Moon program must be able to identify and communicate their need to use the bathroom, and perform basic hygiene acts by themselves. We understand that accidents happen, and will work with parents if issue arises.

If your child is sick, please keep them home. Sick children may experience some of the following symptoms: Fever of 100 degrees or greater, vomiting, diarrhea, severe congestion, or visible signs of a communicable disease or illness.
Artletics Summer Day Camp
Program Overview
Our award-winning Artletics summer program offers a blend of fine arts, physical activity, and hands-on education for kids ages 5 to 12. The 8-week camp runs from late June through through August. Each week revolves around a specific theme, with sessions focusing on art, sports, drama, and exercise. Every week of camp ends with an art show and a theatre performance.

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Rise-n-shine (early drop off), 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
After Camp (late pick up), 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

The camp is inclusive of children ages. There is also a limited opportunity for kids ages 13-15 to serve as Junior Counselors.

Standard camp hours are 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Drop-off starting at 8:30 AM and pick-up by 3:30 PM.
Extended care is available before and after camp.

Campers rotate daily between fine arts, sports, drama, and team-building exercises. Gardening club and Science club present additional opportunities for education and exploration. Each week of camp revolves around a theme and concludes with an art show and theatre performance, which is open to campers’ families.

Art Infusion School Break Camp
Program Overview
Art Infusion is a creative arts-based day camp designed to provide a fun, engaging outlet for children during their school vacations. Modeled after the award-winning Artletics summer program, this camp blends fine arts, physical play, and hands-on learning to keep kids active and creative when school is out.

Offered when school is out of session for week-long breaks or single holidays, including:
Veterans Day, MLK Jr. Day, Mid-winter Recess, Superintendent’s Day, Spring Recess, Memorial Day, & Juneteenth
